Wraps

My Wraps are usually made to order, although I do have some ready-made. They are hand beaded with a unique feather of my own design made from glass beads. Usually, I make them 2m long and 0.5m wide, although I can vary this according to the customer's preference (price may vary).

Perfect for brides, bridesmaids, parties and proms, they are quality heirloom items and with care, should last a lifetime.

They are made from satin or satin crepe, although I would be happy to work with other fabrics to order.

The beads are firmly double stitched. There is nothing worse than an item of clothing shedding beads whenever you wear it!

Prices vary slightly according to fabric, size and detail. Why not get in touch to discuss your requirements?

Silver feather wrap

This wrap is made from a beautiful silvery lilac satin crepe. The feather is made from silver glass bugle beads and measures     cm (   in).  I need at least one week's notice for each wrap required.

The silver feather would work well on any colour fabric, so would be ideal on a prom or bridesmaid's wrap, as well as for an evening wrap.

 Peacock feather wrap

The first peacock feather wrap I made was for my daughter's prom. In teal satin, with irridescent beads that flash in the light from teal to purple, just like a real peacock feather. The 'eye' is beaded with tiny glass seed beads and the rest with glass bugle beads.

This design would look stunning on black for evening wear or white for a wedding.

At 30 cm (12 in) and a complex design, the feather takes many hours to bead so I need three weeks' notice for each wrap required.

Gold feather wrap

This wrap is made of a beautiful electrum satin crepe (halfway between gold and silver).

The fabric would work well with other coloured beads and obviously a gold feather would look great on pretty much any other colour.

A similar size to the silver feather, I need a fortnight's notice for each wrap required.
